Chiranjeevi's father Konidela Venkat rao (76) passed away in Hyderabad today(December 24th)
morning around 6:30am. He was suffering from a heart-related ailment. Venkatarao is survived by his wife three sons - Chiranjeevi, Nagababu and Pawan Kalyan, and two daughters - Vijayadurga & Madhavi.
Venkatrao ,who worked in excise department, also acted in minor roles in films like Jagat Kiladilu and Kiladi Bullodu.He also did a guest role in Chiranjeevi-starrer Mantrigaari Viyyankudu.

Many of the near and dear from the Film industry&Politicial circles visited Chiru's father's house and payed homage to him. I have to be frank here...
Though i am not a ardent fan of chiranjeevi, i have all my sympathy for him. I am shocked at seeing his life for last 1 year. Only a strong and balanced personality can sustain so many hiccups. This is really an admirable charactersitic of chiranjeevi.
